I am a self-professed lover of apps and processes.

I tell people all the time that  I love apps more than I love shoes. And it’s the truth. The possibility of making my business, my website or my life run more efficiently makes me tick. There are so many amazing apps, widgets, plugins (you name it) that are freely available, user friendly and yes, exciting!

Onto processes, my second love. They just make sense. It’s like going for driving lessons before you take your test. Sensible. Or learning WordPress before you build your WordPress website. Logical. By following a process or mapping out steps in your business, you save yourself time and energy and even more importantly, you provide your clients with a clearly defined and professional interaction each and every time. Ok, I admit, I spent many years working for a business process based training company, and although I didn’t realize it at the time, they must have had a hand in turning me into a lover of processes. Thanks Bridge People and Technology!

How does this apply to you? Well perhaps you run a business. This means, like most of us mere mortals, you are probably spinning in all directions, wearing many hats, and have a to-do list that you can never really get on top of. Don’t worry, you are not alone. Many people function like this and many businesses operate successfully in this environment.

Wouldn’t it be nice though to be able to run your business without the constant stress and pressure? Wouldn’t it be great to be able to magically get your business to run itself? Ok, so we can’t wave a magic wand and create more time, freedom and flexibility, but there are two things that can help you pretty quickly. Have you guessed them yet?
